  • I went in for breakfast on Jan 10 2016, (Sunday morning) and ordered the corned beef hash. It is a favorite Meal of mine and l order it almost whenever l find it on a menu. I have to admit that the dish that was served up to me was without doubt one of the worst presented and worst tasting dishes l have ever encountered. It was simply a slop of a few diced up boiled potatoes that had not been drained properly, a few chopped up pieces of corned beef, two poached eggs and a leaf of parsley. The meal was so uninteresting to look at that it would not have been out of place in a pheasant household somewhere in rural Ireland during the great potato famine. It really was that awful. I was not at all enthralled with the meal, but ate what l could. l had not looked at the price when l ordered but assumed it would be about $8 to $9, (which l would have accepted as okay and chalked it up to a lesson and not ordered that particulate dish there ever again.) What thoroughly annoyed me was the fact that they charged an incredulous $19 for the dish!!! This in my mind is a complete and utter rip off and the reason l took the time to actually write this review. If an establishment wants to charge by far a higher than average price, then they have an obligation to deliver by far a higher than average product. A note to the chef, your clientele are not pheasants, nor are they in rural bloody Ireland during the great potato famine! Please don't treat them as such! Paying $19 for a slop of boiled potatoes and a few chips of corned beef is not right. (Not even Oliver Twist would have asked for more!) To be fair however, the table next to me were having a salad of sorts that they seemed to thoroughly enjoy, so maybe it was just this particular dish that needs attention. For the record, I did mention the the waitress that I was not happy with the meal, she did offer not to charge me full price for it, which was very kind of her, but it just seems kind of cliched and hollow to complain about a meal in order to get a discount so l paid the full price and a proper tip and addressed the matter in this manner instead.
