This is a semi run down casino on a high traffic spot on the strip. I stayed here maybe five years ago and since then they may have been renovated. The pool is in a small back corner and does not get good sunlight due to the location. The roller coaster is overpriced and the food court area inside is ok but nothing special. What makes NYNY awesome is the outside Brooklyn Bridge area on Las Vegas Blvd. The addition of restaurants like Shake Shack burger and Tom's Urban are nice. The bridge also has good entertainment and live music at night. The casino definitely benefits from the new T-Mobile Arena which is located in between the casino and Monte Carlo.
