| - It's not the classes that deserve this rating, it's the front desk staff. If I could rate just the classes, I would give them 4 stars.
I went once to a pre-natal yoga class right around the holidays and for first time customers, it's $12 for the class. I wasn't informed about any packages or 2 week unlimited class passes, etc. They just took my money and I went to class.
In the meantime, I looked online and figured out that there are packages and a 2 week unlimited pass for first time customers. Here's how it played out the second time I went in...
I got to the class right on time and asked if I could pay after the class so I could look at package options. Immediate answer was "no, we need payment now." I asked if they would honor the two week pass since no one told me about it (and the only pricing list is a tiny brochure on the front desk) and she said (in a very short, unfriendly manner), "no it's $17 and we accept cash or card." Again, didn't get offered any alternative to other monthly packages, etc. It was obvious she didn't want my business from that day forward, so I will not be going back.
I've been to many yoga studios in my life and have never had a hostile experience. It's the front desk experience that sets you up for a relaxing and productive class and this ruined it for me - despite how good any of the classes may be. Thoroughly disappointed as I really wanted this to become my regular studio.
