  • Had a great stay. Rooms more or less identical to the Luxe tower at SLS. Heavenly beds, comfortably sized rooms, ample bathroom space but not generous with limited counter space because of the oversized sinks. If the walls are paper thin I didn't notice. We sleep with ear plugs though... I felt the housekeeping staff did a thorough job and I like that they come later in the day. A favorite part of this hotel is that it's casino & smoke free. Not being a smoker or gambler, I find that very appealing to avoid the "ding ding" that you normally encounter on the lobby level. However if you do want to partake it's a very short walk from the W level over to the SLS- they're connected! Huge highlight as you get easy access to the restaurants, casino, & pool at SLS. The other highlight is the monorail stop. It's just through the lobby restaurant! And the lobby restaurant is great. Such terrific staff and strong drinks. We ordered food 5 minutes before the kitchen closed and they were so helpful. I really, really love the W's hotel pool though. It's fantastic and QUIET. It's small enough and not as rowdy as the SLS pool. That's one of the best parts of the W. You have OPTIONS! Want rowdy pool party atmosphere? Hit up the SLS pool instead! I ate at the W pool this trip and the salad was a large serving, super fresh and good. Also enjoyed my glass of bubbly. And it was a great crew.
