  • Stopped in last night after work to get some good and was really disappointed. I was exhausted from working a double and just wanted some quick food so I ordered fried food off of the late night happy hour menu. Being a server and having worked in restaurants for over a decade, I know that fried food is the fastest thing when you're in a hurry. I ordered fish and chips, Irish nachos and muscles. After waiting for 45 mins (yes that's right, 45 mins!) our fish and chips came out. The bartender dropped the food off without any explanation of what had happened or apology and simply stated the rest of the food would be out in a minute. Being late night, there were not a lot of people in the place so it clearly wasn't an issue of the kitchen being backed up. Then, 20 mins after the fish and chips were brought out the bartender brought out the muscles. At this point I was sick of waiting for our full order and just told the bartender to cancel the rest of the order. Still, no apology or explanation on his part. Finally, being a server I asked him what had happened with our food to which he said the cook didn't see our order for 10 mins... Which doesn't explain how our fried food that should take no longer than 10 mins to make, 20 mins if busy took over hour to get. Really disappointed that nothing was explained, no apologies and no comps offered.
