  • Nice place to have a beer and their home brews are tasty but pricey. Food is decent but inconsistent and they like to charge for an extra side sauce or salsa which is nitpicking at these prices especially considering 5 mns walk down the street is some of the best mexican food(Morenos Tacos) in Phoenix at a 1/4 of the cost. The worse most annoying thing about Santan Brew is their habit of asking your name at the bar! KNOCK THAT CRAP OFF ! I'm not your friend and I will make a fool out of you by giving you some joke-name to repeat for my amusement! This is so cheesy it makes one feel like they are at Bennigans or Olive Garden bar! I understand the reasoning but unless I come in twice a week for 6 months let me be anonymous ,you have not earned my trust and no it is not getting you bigger tips! STOP THIS STUPID CORPORATE TRAIT! Other than that I like to support local and it is way better than that fake Irish bar down the street, that place needs to go away!
