  • I just got a service done at Aveda. My stylist was really sweet. She did an ok job on my color. However, there was a copper strip left on the top of my hairline. Also, she didn't do the hand massage or facial treatment and she kept walking away from me about 10 minutes at a time. In all, my services took four total hours and I walked away with a partial highlight and foil. To add injury to insult the "male teacher" disappeared for a smoke break delaying my services. Then, I was supposed to get a 20 percent discount and I got 10 percent off instead. I just walked out pretty frustrated. Sorry. If you choose to go, allow for 4-6 hours! Yes, half a day! And, remind them to do your facial and hand massage. Also, make sure you do the math for your discount. I was really disappointed I didn't get my haircut. But, somehow they think I am returning and offered to give me a $10 future credit. I don't think so! Also, realize this is not in a safe part of town, so make sure to come with your spouse or significant other or friend!
