  • Have been a member for a few years. This year I wanted to renew my membership a relative. They won't let you unless you live together and you have to prove it. Dumbest thing I have ever heard of ever!! Why would you deny two households spending money instead of one? The manager said, it's because they make there money off the memberships and some blabber speech about if one applied for credit the address wouldn't be correct. Ok I'm not getting a membership with some blow smo off the street. It's a family member so obviously these things are discussed. The manager suggested one of us switch our mail so we can prove we live together. Yeah ok Costco let's inconvient your customers. I know it won't hurt them, but I left and went to Sam's club.
