  • I had been to this Alley location a few times now since it's easier for me to get here than the Richmond Hill location. I love the store decors that give the place this rustic feel and also love the fact that there is a patio for summer weather! However, today I was pretty disappointed when I was told that they ran out of fresh milk. So their signature drinks use fresh milk and I never thought this would happen. I was only told after paying for Royal No. 9 Milk Tea and the barrister said he could make the drink with milk powder. There is absolutely no way I am paying $6+ for milk powder drink so I said no. Although the staff refunded my money back, I still got very confused with the lack of communication between the barrister and cashier. I was the only person in line and it was not even busy at that time. It sucks a lot when you came all the way to get an iced cold bubble tea as a treat on a hot summer afternoon and this was what happened.
