A friend that knows his food told us about this little place and was he ever right! Went out of my dietary comfort zone and fell for their feta fries. Saw them on several tables and it was a done deal. Thank goodness after a few my craving was satisfied and I moved on to the real food. The chicken souvlaki plate was more than tasty. The two chicken skewers of marinated chicken breast were moist and tender. The rice pilaf was seasoned perfectly and side salad was delish with a more than generous side salad, romaine lettuce, too, no iceberg lettuce here!
My hubby had the chicken bowl which he said was excellent. Bascially, it was a Greek salad with a skewer of chicken breast served over a bed of rice. We also sampled some hummus, which was also flavorful. It was presented in a little bowl topped with several garbanzo's and sprinkled with paprika. My only comment was that the grape leaves were bland. A tad more seasoning would be helpful. The were presented beautifully and again the portion size was generous.
This family run restaurant has personalized excellent service. Very friendly and helpful!
Parking is easy, close and free, can't beat that!
Next time we're in the area we will be back and I'll see if I can be strong and not yield to the temptation of the feta fries!
