rev:text	If I could give negative 5 I would. I made an appointment several weeks ago for today. Yesterday I called to confirm. A very pleasant gentleman said that I would get a call shortly after 5PM to confirm the time. When I hadn't received a call, at 5:45 I called and got a voicemail saying to leave a msg and all calls would be answered within 72 hours (72 hours, really??). I did leave a msg, but decided to try to text. After a few minutes, I received a text back saying they would be at my home at 9AM, so I planned my work schedule around that. No one showed up or called at 9AM...started texting again, finally was told they "caught a flat." She said she could have a different crew here in 30 minutes. I said, fine, but I am going to run a quick errand, so tell them if they happen to get here sooner, I will be back within the 30 minutes. She said she couldn't do that, they would just leave, so I suggested that I could get everything I had to do done and be back at 3 if that worked better. She texted fine. 3 PM came...guess what? No one showed up. I texted again...she said they should be there any minute. When I said I coulnd't believe their lack of customer service, she told me she wasn't sending anyone and that I am "hostile." She said that was why she wanted to send someone this morning, but I had to run errands. Doesn't this chick realize that appointments are meant to be kept, or they should communicate that they are running late? The best was her ending text telling me that it is my fault I am in the situation I am in because I don't understand that they are like doctor's appointments and sometimes they run late. But she will have a good New Year because she just got a new Challenger (no clue what relevance that is!) Anjile: we all run late occasionally, but in this age of electronics there is no excuse not to advise someone you are running late.
