| - So I was here for 3 nights in a West King Room in the West Wing for EDC weekend, my room was located on the 4th floor and getting to/from was pretty easy since I had the layout memorized pretty well from the self park to my room and vice versa. So my room was pretty nice and chic, I think they were going for a modern feel, the layout seemed a little weird at first but the room did seem very spacious. So first when I walk in the room, there's a sink and to the left there is a toilet with a door and separating that with a wall was a shower right next to it. Walking past the sink there is a wall behind it to separate it from the bed where a large TV was mounted. The bed and mattress was really comfortable, there were 2 night stands and on the one to the right was a broken, antiquated Sony iPod clock player (16-pins instead of lightning port). So all in all the room was good and the only thing was the room was showing a little but of age was the wall outlet plate was loose and the nightstand was a little dusty, but I had a nice comfortable, homey room with an air conditioning that worked (super important to beat the heat of Vegas in the summer). The wifi was adequate but sometimes I had a little bit of problems loading browsers or sending iMessages and text messages. Now that MGM charges $10/day for parking it's important to keep your room's keycard with you because that's your way to enter and exit the self parking lot of the MGM and it gives you in-and-out privileges at the other MGM Resorts in Las Vegas (Mandalay Bay, Delano, Luxor, Excalibur, New York New York, Monte Carlo, Aria, Vdara, Bellagio, The Mirage, Circus Circus) as well. I think it's good that at night they have security at the lobby level of the guest elevators. My only suggestion is that I wished that they had a mini fridge in the room so I can keep my drinks cold but other than that, good stay and I'll be back!
