  • We recently visited to apply for passports and I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The City of Henderson does walk in passport applications, no appointment needed. It is important to get there early, doors open at 7:30 and they begin processing applications at 8am. They only process a certain number of applications a day, hence the importance of arriving early. We got there right at 7:30am. With two families in front of us in line, we waited about 30 minutes to get in to process our applications. The person who processed our applications was friendly and professional. TIPS: 1. Arrive early, before doors open at 7:30am. 2. Bring check or money order for payment. 3. You can take your passport photo here! 4. The website gives live estimated wait times. 5. Read the application and requirements carefully to make sure you have everything.
