I do not write many reviews although I should, but I'm lazy. I also should tell you before I tell the truth I have eaten everywhere; from the hole in the walls to the finest restaurants from Vegas to Chicago to NY. I also am in the hospitality business from ownership to design/build for over 20 years.
So I took my family (4 adults) to Posh for what we hoped was a fantastic dining experience. Although the concept is interesting the product we received was a total let down and a serious waste of time and money.
We spent $700. We did it all!
We chose their highest wine pairings, and so the 2 stars were for the wines.
The food was horrible. Flavors did not pair well and I'm sick from ingesting what was served.
For those of you not familiar with improvisational cuisine: you basically put ALL your faith in "the chefs" to make you a meal based on whatever they feel at that time. Bad, bad bad...
I can say the tomato soup was good.
Everything else was terrible.
I've never spent $700 at a restaurant and left unsatisfied and hungry believe it or not!
Small tiny portions. No warm bread.
Sloppy service. Poor ventilation. Slightly dirty and unkept throughout. Poor Host etiquette. Sloppy table set up with a pen and paper menu?
The bathroom had horrible sewer smell: and my wife actually filled the floor drain with water to stop the sewer gas.
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
