  • Today was our first time coming to Valerie's paw spa. Our dog Shelby is a rescue that was abused and our previous grooming experience was a rough one to say the least. After 10 min of dropping her off they called saying it wasn't working out with Shelby and I got sad expecting them to say to come get her. Instead they asked if my husband could come sit with her so they could get her all cleaned up. Instead of turning her away they worked with us and my husband sat with them the whole time so they could get her clean and brush/shave all the knots. We really appreciate the compassion they have for all types of dogs.
