| - 3.5 stars, but I will round up.
While waiting, they have a bar in the front where you can get a cup of water or coffee (+ different flavor creamer). That's a nice addition to have since breakfast/brunch restaurants usually have long wait times. The front of the restaurant had chairs and seating for customers waiting, however their register is in the middle of the room so it's a little bit of awkward spacing when there are a lot of waiting parties.
The food took almost as long as the wait time to be seated which is about half an hour - give or take. I was in the mood for a pancake and the carrot cake caught my eye. It was my mistake because I didn't expect there to be so many raisins (which I found overpowering), however, I brought it home and my brother loved it. Up to preference: if you love or don't mind raisins or walnuts, carrot cake is the way to go!
I also ordered the million dollar bacon - good but I've had better, and the roasted potatoes - again, up to preference it'd like them a little more roasted as they were mushy like a baked potato consistency.
My boyfriend ordered the Triathlete, which is an egg white omelette with mushrooms, onions, tomatoes and green chili and he really enjoyed it.
All in all, First Watch seems to be a nice place for brunch and I would come back to try other entrees on their menu.
