Read a lot of great Yelp reviews before going to this hole in the wall bagel shop at the base of Mt. Royal. The bagels were good and fairly priced. I guess I was expecting that there would be a place to sit down and there wasn't. From what I could see they did not even sell coffee there so we opted for coffee across the street. We ordered two bagels. One plain and another salt bagel. I was surprised that the salt bagel was actually a pretzel. I wasn't looking for a pretzel but obviously this was due to my not being able to read French or navigate the menu. They provide small no drill butters and Philadelphia cream cheese upon request. There are benches outside but the ambiance was somewhat lacking with a down and out homeless person looking for handouts. Despite this we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the "bagels" had hoped they would have. Even served warm but maybe that was something that we had to specify.
