| - I work nearby and pay about 350 for the year- (through my employer), so i don't get billed monthly therefore I haven't been a victim of weird pricing that others have complained about.
Like I said I work nearby so I go in for my lunch hour. I go in anywhere from 11am to 1pm, noon is the worst, it's best to get in before noon, or go in after noon. otherwise people have flocked in for the fitness class and change rooms can be very busy.
I like to do my own fitness routine, I always have a cardio machine available and in the women's area of the gym, I find there is always room and machinery available to use. Towels are generally available.
I don't much care for chit chat, so i like that the staff give a simple greeting and leave me to be on my way, but others may prefer a more personable exchange.
Personal trainers- there are alot of them. one approached me for a fitness test, a fitness check up.. i accepted, but the prices are insane.
if the trainer also handled my diet plan maybe it'd be worthwhile, but meh.. anyways, if you are into having a personal trainer, you won't be dissapointed.
i didn't feel pressured, and i still enjoy my workouts.
this location has a pool, make sure you wear a swimming cap and goggles because the chlorine is serious! hair will get damaged and worn out looking, and eye feel sore. but once geared up, you can do your laps, noone will both you, and it's usually pretty empty- except for 1 or 2 seniors who probably live in the condo nearby.
So I like going to this gym- bottom line.
