  • Um, so much for having another stellar experience this time around... I really didn't appreciate the interrogation by the front desk girl and felt as if she thought I was going to harbor a rowdy group of my pinoy kin in our room when it was just my hubby and I. I also didn't find the fact that she demanded she see my wedding ring to see if we were really married amusing. I especially disliked the fact that they charge you an additional $200 fee onto your card as a deposit on top of your room charge without notice or clear explanation.They said it was only when you used a debit card but the last time we were here and used the same card, we experienced no such charge. What gives? We got the standard room which was cool as it was very large and clean albeit a little unpleasant. Why? Perhaps because of the fact that there was this echoing of a thundering drip every time we used the sink. BOM BOM BOM...BOM BOM BOM. The loud noise would go on and on even after an hour of using the sink. Chinese water torture anybody? We tried to swap rooms but they wanted to downgrade us to an even smaller room. No bueno. We said never mind and decided to man it up in the dungeon with the drippy pipes. This time around, the casino was dull, dismal, dark and everything seemed closed. What a disappointment from my last grand experience here. Don't think I'll return anytime soon...sorry Rio.
