| - Oooh ... so, I went to see Dr. Ryan Hoover, one of the two chiropractors at Back and Body Health.
I'm normally skeptical of chiros because all they want to do is crack you and keep you coming back three times a week.
Ryan, however, hooked me up to ultrasound, sent a bunch of electrical shocks into my back, used some Active Release Techniques and gave me advice on what things to do at home (sleeping positions, stretches, exercises).
As I continue to see him (once a week until we can get my hips back in normal place), he'll give me more 'homework' and help me get my core stabilizer muscles stronger so that my back will be better supported.
Funny thing, as we talked, more things started to make sense ... like why I'm more explosive through my left leg when I'm doing stationary lunges.
I'm a little tender today but I'm hoping to see some improvement as I do my homework.
