  • OMG this is the biggest and best grocery store I have ever seen!! My friend and I came across this place walking through Toronto heading downtown from our hotel. We were looking for a restaurant for lunch and we were walking on the side of this place and you could see in the window fresh organic produce, meat counters and cheese counter etc. We asked a few guys walking behind us what this place was and they said it was a grocery store but it was like Whole Foods on CRACK!! I mean this place was huge! You walk in the door and you see dessert cases with everything imaginable, pizza oven, hot foods, sandwich making, salad bar, and then walking in deeper you see a tea counter, sushi bar, pre made salad area with all sorts of salads. They had so many healthy choices and fresh produce. Meat counter, cheese counter, bread, bakery, olive bar, everything imaginable they have it here. I mean this is only half of the place you haven't even seen the grocery area yet. They also had a pharmacy and massages and physical therapy sign. Upstairs there is a liquor store and a clothing store. But the star of the show is all the pre made and cooked food you could buy here and the dining area they had in the middle area for you to eat. I think we were in there for well over an hour, mainly walking around in awe and trying to figure out just what we wanted to have for lunch since there were so many choices. This was probably the best find I found in all of Canada and Toronto. After talking to some other people they said this was the largest location and not all of them are as grand so I guess we really lucked out! If you are ever here in Toronto you really need to check this place out especially if you are from the US like me. I have never seen anything so beautiful.
