Called to make an appointment to get a second opinion for my daughters leg. Was on hold for probably 20 minutes before I was able to get an appointment for a month later. The woman on the phone got all my insurance information informed me about all the forms I needed to fill out told me to get to my 8:50 appointment at 8:20 but if I had all the necessary forms filled out (which she emailed to me) and I submitted some online, I didn't have to get there 30 minutes before. I get a call two days before to confirm my 8:50 appointment. I arrive to the appointment at 8:40, the girl at check in, checks all the paper work, asks me to take a seat. Five minutes later calls me back up and says the doctor can't see my daughter today as I didn't arrive for my appointment a half hour before to get registered. I explained what I was told on the phone about having filled out all the paperwork already and she just said sorry but you'll put the doctor behind. I didn't even argue at that point because it's just ridiculous that a half hour is needed to do, what at that point...maybe take a copy of my license and insurance card?
Maybe I dodged a bullet after reading some of these other yelp reviews. It is a tad unfair that I'm rating them a one star since we didn't get to see the doctor but what a horrible experience. I've never been turned away like that especially being early for my appointment time and having all the paperwork filled out.
