  • Traveling on a early weekday morning through Charlotte (I know, I know, what bad timing), I spotted this on the highway and had to stop. The drive thru lane was empty at about 8:30 am, but I had way too much on the top of my car to make it through the clearance! I walked in to order which was not a problem at all. No one was in line so I quickly placed and waited for my order. The baristas were so pleasant and the interior was clean and obviously taken care of. This Starbucks is on the larger side, so it doesn't feel crowded if you did have to wait in line. My order came out correct (double shot espresso macchiato, or a doppio as some places label it; americano; and a PSL because 'tis the season) and hot! Despite there not being anyone in line, a lot of mobile orders were coming through, and they are quick and efficient with those. This was also my first time trying a PSL, and I (finally) get why people go crazy for it!
