Made major purchases with Spencers about 11 months ago; we had Rusty as a salesperson. Overall, I have to give the experience a very unfavorable rating.
1. Bought dual Freezer and Refrigerator units (Electrolux). The freezer was delivered without a box...Rusty claimed they just took it off at the warehouse to help with the delivery. Really? The freezer had about 8 months of dust on top of it.
2. The freezer makes a lot of noise. A repair person claims that's just the way the motors are. Bull. I am contemplating pulling the freezer lining off the back to shove some insulation in by myself.
3. We exchanged large Cabrio washer/dryer units for smaller ones. As part of the exchange, Rusty wanted a 30% restock fee after we were told 15% in the store before purchase.
4. The Cabrio washer which Rusty told us was the best think since sliced bread can't even do one (1) set of sheets. When you pull the sheets out, there are large dry spots throughout...this washer doesn't even get things wet!
5. Whirlpool customer service is the worst. When told of the washer problem, the irritated rep just lectured me that "if we send someone out there and they can't find anything wrong, your going to be charged for a full service call."
