  • Once you try Friendly's glazed donut, you will never go back to Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts. I am here at 5:45 PM, and even though it's not hot, the donut is as soft as if it was just cooked. The amount of glaze is sufficient for sweetness--not too much, not too little. The size is right, too; satisfaction to the dot. I also tried the gigantic Apple fritter. (I only ate half). For my taste buds it is too sweet. Overall, Friendly's is definitely a place I will come back to no matter for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
