RE: Agent Stacey. DO NOT USE IF PURSUING VA LOAN...the process was so "quick"... as a new 1st time homeowner who is now 2 years and much smarter about the service I did NOT receive from Stacey - I feel I am being generous with even 1 star - I do NOT recommend her to anyone buying a home - especially if you are a first time home-buyer. And she is definitely not your goto person for VA loans - I ended up paing fees that most agents protect veterans from paying and she failed to secure funds that she assured me I would receive (the sellers agreed to providing) to fix the 16 items deficient on the inspection (which she urged me were also small items) after my 1st month - I ended up with multiple HOA violations which she did not likely inform me to check history of outstanding and ensure clearance - thus had to pay for tree removal and trimming (2 grand) and broken irrigation (700) that neither is covered by any warranty - also removal of an old DISH antenna from previous owners (150)...among MANY other items - garage door broken/plumbing issues/minor but multiple electrical issues/very poor paint job (both interior and exterior -had her dad represent as a handyman which I paid him a couple hundred and all he did was change a few electrical outlets! So many issues - in fact just received violation for exterior painting! (I am sure this might be one of those historical violations discovered if due diligence was done). I could continue but am sure you get a good picture by now. I try not to be bitter and to take some of the blame - however as a first time home-buyer - please know "quick" is NOT better... and we rely on our realtors to advocate and do their due diligence to ensure the best deal for us - the client not themselves. Anyway - I have learned tremendously from my bad experience and hope this can help alleviate someone else from having to go through what I am STILL sorting out.
