| - We spent the day here doing work on our laptops, eating some food and drinking various offerings of the cafe. They graciously allowed us to keep our dog inside despite the open patio, and let us camp out at the bar for ~5 hours.
The chai latte is probably the best I have had anywhere, but their smashes are lacking in flavor, though the combinations are imaginitive. I was happy to discover their gluten free scone, but found it somewhat bland as well, though the fruit baked in was very good. The java chip scone was pretty good, as well, and neither were dry like scones usually are. We also got the kale beet salad, which bordered on scrumptious: the beets were cooked perfectly, and the rest mixed well. I think it was worth the twn dollars. No doubt, this place is quite expensive. The regular brew was ok - tasted a little burned, but tolerable.
The music selection was great (wish I had asked what pandora station it was...), and wasn't too loud. It's a comfortable little place and the service is very good. We enjoyed our afternoon here!
