  • Fox works as a rental company in the same way that Venezuela "works" as a country. Which is to say, it is a beginning-to-end, front-to-back misery. If you long for the speedy lines of Disneyland's most popular rides on the fourth of July, you will find Fox RentaCar is a not-to-be missed treat. SUPER long lines AND it takes TWO shuttles from the airport. I've used rent a car outfits good and bad. In the future. I would rather rent a Ford Focus from ANY of the name brands than a BMW from Fox. I literally could have walked from the airport to the Strip in the time it took me to get out of my plane, get my luggage and ARRIVE here. My flight landed at 8:25, it's an hour later and I'm at the DMV, excuse me, the Las Vegas "Airport" Fox office. I mean, I'm honest-to-goodness impressed at how miserable this entire experience has been. I've never been to Soviet Russia, but it must feel something like this. But let us not forget the phone customer "service." A repetitive loop where some young lady's recorded voice told me how important I was as a customer and how important customer service was and is to Fox, Inc. After two dozen renditions of THAT, the auto recorder hung up on me!!! In the facility. Women's bathroom is DEFINITELY out of order, based on the display. 7 clerks for 38 customers. I love the sign "Please Have License and Credit Card Ready When Called to Counter." So THATS why it's so slow. The 10 seconds it takes to remove my wallet and cards. I will say that it has been interesting, now that the line is snaking back the other way, to watch the amazed, almost pole axed look of the newly arrived customers. I must have looked the same. That awful feeling when you see a line that is eight times longer than you expected. I've written and edited (twice) the aforementioned in the first Third of the line. I'll pause to see how the actual service is. It is now 90 minutes since I left my plane. But I'm almost to the counter! I purchased, online, a Chrysler 300. The counter service was excellent, BTW. I had to wait 37 minutes to get helped. I get out to the lot. What do you think the odds were that a 300 was out there? Zero, of course. The rates aren't that cheap, there are plenty of auto rental firms. Will I use them again? Well, it's not enough to go to the bottom of my list. You'd have to go miles toward the center of the Earth, pas Cerberus, and that is where you will find my opinion and likelihood of ever using Fox again.
