We went because I'd heard good things about the cocktails. Although both the venue and the menu are much smaller than the other well-reputed cocktail bars in the valley (Crudo, Bitter & Twisted, etc) the quality is absolutely on par with those bars. A guy named Max took care of us, and rather than order off of the menu he made us multiple rounds of drinks of his own creation based on our likes and dislikes. He was spot on every time and was great company as well. We shared a few items off of the food menu, the best of which was the asparagus with duck egg. The kitchen was visible, which I always like.
