The bartender at the hotel I was staying at suggested that I come here since I have a lust for classic cocktails, especially anything made with a whisky. I came here on a Friday evening around 7 pm. The place was kinda dead, a few servers clustered near the front entry way, a couple sitting at the bar and a group lounging at a table. I sit myself on the bar and survey my surroundings. The decor is very modern and swanky, shades of grey on the seats, tables, bar, etc. There was a large array of alcohol on the bar and set up of different cuts of ice and garnishes. The bartender greets me and hands me a menu, I look over everything but I already know what I want. I ask wheither or not they have templeton rye and they don't, so I settle for bulleit in my old fashioned. It was good...and so next I order a mint julep. I took my first sip and was not happy, it tasted off and a little too sweet for my taste. I thanked the bartender and headed out.
