I may have had higher expectations and thus the let down...
Service at the pool:
Pretty awesome, the pool/bar waitress came over frequently to check if we needed food, drinks, etc. She also brought us lemon water without asking. As it gets more crowded, you may need to wait a bit, but overall really good. The hotel towels/chairs are decent and not too flimsy.
Food/drinks at the pool:
Decided to order from Roku (Japanese food) at the pool and was SO disappointed to order sushi and not have any ginger or wasabi...(dramatic: isn't that sacrilegious?). Overall the sushi is quite good but super heavy on the spicy mayo sauce (yick). Drinks at the pool are quite good too, just as expected a bit more on the pricey side.
Ambience:
It's good if it's earlier in the day (ie, if there's few people around)...but towards the late afternoon/weekends there was quite a bit of activity prepping the area for yoga that ruins it for the guests. So we had quite a few guys around the cabana putting speakers and wires up.
Overall, liked the modern look and design but I was just hoping for more...especially with so many great spots in the neighborhood.
