  • Would be 2.5 stars if possible... Based on some reviews here I thought I would finally find my perfect pair of glasses here...but no. The service was definitely friendly at first, but they didn't really give me any suggestions. I said I wanted to look at some big frames that were not too heavy, they showed me some. I said I wanted to try on some smaller ones, they gave me smaller ones to try on. I said I wanted black frames, they gave me the black ones...The whole time the guy just stood beside me and looked, he didn't really give any suggestions or comments...I wasn't sure what kind of glasses suited me and I was hoping based on the experience of the staff, they would come up with some ideas of what types of glasses were suitable for me depending on my facial features and shape of face? Okay maybe I'm asking too much. When I finally decided on a pair of glasses I thought was best at the time and asked if there could be any discounts (I wasn't really hoping to get one, but thought it didn't hurt to ask), he said no and went on about how good their quality was, comparing to the other stores in a very...eh...I don't know...condescending tone? He said,"oh, we have very good quality here and we value customer service here. If your bought your glasses from another store and they were broken, what would they do? Tell me, what would they do? Tell me." - expecting me to answer "They would not fix it?" I said nothing, so after a long pause he said,"I will tell you what, they would certainly not fix it, but here we will fix it for you free of charge! Would that happen in the other stores? Would it? What do you think?"- expecting me to answer "No it wouldn't, you are the best and you have the best customer service and I wouldn't go anywhere else and I wouldn't dare to ask for a discount anymore????????" I just didn't like his tone. I guess he was trying to make a point of their high standard...but umm, next time don't treat your customers like they are 10 year olds. When I went to pick up the glasses, the store was super busy and I was left at the counter unattended for 20 minutes until they finally brought me my glasses without saying a word. My glasses were just so so, and after wearing them for a while - They are just so heavy! They are not very comfortable and they leave pretty deep dents on the top of my nose, and I remembered I asked for the lighter ones! Definitely be careful when you are choosing glasses, because some stuff is just not that obvious and apparent when you just try them on in the store for 20 seconds. For around $450 a pair I expected more. I rarely wear them now.
