As a fan of the Arizona Cardinals, who tried to enjoy a game at the University of Phoenix Stadium on 11/16/14, I am writing on behalf of my experience with the security company S.A.F.E Management today. We were walking through the stadium to get to our seats with 80 others who were attending with us today and were singled out for an unknown reason. Then my husband and a colleague who is a physician and his wife were cited today by S.A.F.E Management for unstated reasons and ejected from the game. It appeared to be a targeted harassment without reason or explanation. The person who cited him was Mr. Justin F. and he never answered about why or what we had done wrong. When we asked about a reason, they just told us to leave. We were not being disorderly or disruptive and merely trying to get to our seats with our friends. We are 30-something individuals with professional jobs who are respectful to people always. This seemingly targeted harassment left me with a lot of questions and a need to contact higher management to ensure this issue is addressed.
I feel that this type of unfortunate incident is just an indication of what we should anticipate for the Super Bowl this year. I work in contracting and if S.A.F.E Management feels like they need to meet a quota for citations in order to justify their contract with the stadium, this is a larger issue that needs to be addressed for the future welfare of the Cardinals franchise.
