  • There's an official, very technical, dental term that applies to this office: Freakin Awesome! I mean, how could you go wrong here? Super-duper customer-orientation, modern technology, bright/young/patient/talented dentists & staff at your disposal ... and scads of other five-star reviews posted below. Oh, and did I mention they are running an ongoing special of summthin-like $49 special for initial exam, X-rays & prophylaxis (that's a cleaning in dento-speak)? Almost immediately upon my arrival in Vegas, I cracked a crown. After a dental-consult with Drs. Google & Yelp, I decided to drop in, unannounced, at this office, late afternoon, to plead my case to the Court of New Patients in Need. And, on that particular day, due to my move, my dental insurance plan was broken down on the I-15, somewhere between Hiatus-ville and Purgatory. "We can see you first thing tomorrow," said front-desker & benefits coordinator Rachel. What, I thought to myself, none of that 'We're now seeing new patients the Thursday after Judgment Day' nonsense? Awesome! (Thank goodness this place isn't run by Mirror Mirror Nail Salon-see my review.) "We are always trying to grow the business," I was told. Hey, I am a businessman ... and that sounds like an effective business plan to me! It's clear that customer-orientation is a central focus at this practice. Everyone - even staff members not directly involved in my treatment - went way out of his/her way to be conversational and gracious. If these folks are any nicer to me, I'm just going to send my furniture over there, move in with them and pay half the rent and utilities. (I don't do dishes.) Rachel also exhibited amazing patience throughout the excruciating process of getting my quirky dental insurance coverage back in place (huge shout-out to my employer for spec-ing out such a quirky & cheap plan). That entire process required a number of phone calls and postal mails. (Including eventually figuring out that the "Group ID Number" printed right on my insurance card isn't actually my Group ID Number at all. More 21st-Century corporate genius at work, I suppose.) And this office has also worked with me on the payment peculiarities of the insurer, what they will and won't pay (even when they SHOULD pay). And the place ain't named Green Valley ANCIENT Dentistry for good reason. This procedure was far more state-of-the-art than any I'd had for my prior crowns - even from my former provider, who had a huge crystal chandelier hanging from his waiting-room ceiling and free roses for his customers to walk out with - and who typically charged 50% over the maximum-insurance-payout (for which he always put me on-the-hook). Instead of taking chewy-gooey bite impressions and sending them over to a crown lab where some dental-Michelangelo uses them to chisel-out out a tooth, these folks have some kind of nuclear-powered, George-Jetson-Space-Age laser gizmo the tech uses to scan in an entire 3D impression of my teeth. It looked just like a high-res photograph of my choppers! (I'm gonna get a copy to post on my OKCupid profile -- for the ladies whose profiles say their man must have all his teeth. I do. I know. I paid for all of them.) Then that impression was used by software to precision-design the shape of the crown, which was then robotically-milled out by some kind of CNC device ... with cool-looking bubbling neon-green liquid in it. Just so it would look cool, I suppose. No second visit required (after the crown lab returns the work to the dentist). No-sir-ee, I had new-tooth-game in about two hours, then out the door. Bottom Line: this crown did not have a "high spot" as did the prior crown, that defect leading to constant "chomps" on the prior crown that ultimately caused its fracture & failure. I could go on ... of course ... but trust me, five minutes after you walk in the door, you will know for yourself you are in exactly the right place. Easy to find. Sunset & Warm Springs, in the Trader Joe's strip mall. And, since this is not an MGM property, parking is free! Get your ivories on over there real soon now, hear?
