  • Considering that it was my first trip to Las Vegas and my first time playing poker at a casino, I was psyched to break even after two long sessions at this room. The .50/1 table was great for a beginner, and MGM seemed to be the only casino (at least that I could find) that offered that level. The $1/hr comps are great to use for a meal at one of the restaurants, and the room staff were nice enough to retroactively give me credit even though I hadn't signed up for the card when I arrived (assumed I would lose my budget too quickly to be worth it). They were also really helpful about getting my boyfriend and I at the same table, even when there was a long wait list. I will definitely make my way back here if I go to Las Vegas again.
