I booked Bella's Pet Sitting service for a trip I had planned and was counting on using them to watch my three little dogs. The owner was very nice on the phone. When the sitter came over to meet me, she told me that she trained pit bills and was very comfortable with dogs. I told her that my chihuahuas were a little skittish and that one, who was a rescue, did not like being approached from behind. However, he warms up to people usually after a couple of hours. The sitter assured me everything would be fine and took my credit card information for payment as well as my house key. After she left, I got a call from the owner saying that they would not be able to pet sit for me because my dog (who weighs 5 lbs) posed a threat to the sitter and was considered "dangerous" due to his barking. I was shocked that an experienced pet sitter and dog trainer would have such an issue with such a small dog. In addition, I found it unsettling that the lady said everything was good to go while she was at my house, and left with my key and credit card information. The dog sitter I found in replacement had absolutely no problem with my dogs. I found the whole operation to be extremely unprofessional.
