  • This place was awesome! It is easy to get to, but tucked out of he way a bit, so it wasn't packed even though we went the night of the UW Homecoming. The atmosphere was spectacular - cozy and romantic. We each had the Julep which comes served over shaved ice. It was delicious! Both our meals were great too. I had the Perlou, which someone had previously described as "southern bibimbap" and they were dead on. My boyfriend had the shrimp and grits, which had the perfect amount of spice to it. We both left stuffed! The pricing is pretty on par with some of the trendier restaurants in Madison. The only down side is that parking is tough, especially with all the construction on nearby streets. We can't wait to go again!
