  • First, I must say that I am very pleased with the detailing work Mario and his team had done. My car had a little over 20,000 miles on it, a few scratches, rock chips and dead bug crap from driving on highways. The car already had the CQuartz UK coating, so it was in a pretty decent looking condition, however, I felt it would be nice to re-detail the car with a better coating that I should have used from the very beginning. Well, OptiCoat Pro+ looks absolutely stunning on a black Tesla Model S. And if you love your car as much as I love mine, it's the money well spent! Now, why only 3 stars? When I took my car to the MAD shop to get a quote, Mario told me he'd hook me up with car washing supplies (ONR, microfiber towels, etc.) and show me how to properly wash a car with OptiCoat Pro+. I was pretty excited because I religiously wash my car every week for over a year and try to take good care of it. A few days later, after Mario delivered the car to my house, he once again told me that he would get the car washing supplies for me that week. I had to call Mario 3 times after that over a 2 week-period to give a friendly reminder and tried to be as understanding as possible about his busy schedule. I had finally sent an email as my last attempt, sadly no reply ever came. So, while 3 stars may be a little harsh among all those satisfied customers with 5-star ratings, this disregard for customers after getting paid is just disheartening. For that reason, I cannot recommend MAD Mobile Auto Detailing to others, even if they do an excellent job with detailing cars. UPDATE 08/19/2016: I am changing my review to 5 stars since Mario reached out to me and explained the reasons for not getting back to me sooner, shortly after I posted this review. I just wish he would've done that sooner. I no longer require the car wish kit as I purchased everything needed from Amazon.com by doing my own research online and watching YouTube videos on how to wash a car with OptiCoat Pro.
