  • Deliciousness - 4/5 Happiness - 3/5 This place is really cool. They have counter service where you can order sandwiches and breakfast items (the turkey sandwich is fantastic), a pizza and sandwich restaurant (the pizza is absolutely delicious), roast chicken (whole or half), a coffee bar, an alcohol bar, and some pastries and gelatos. So whether you're in the mood to sit down, bring a chicken home, or just grab a quick bite or beer, La Grande has got you covered. I also HIGHLY recommend the pizza with chicken sausage. The negatives are as follows: (1) the portions are very small for the price. The chickens are bursting with flavor, but easily the smallest roast chickens I have bought. The pizza also really feeds only one person, but is in the mid-teens per pizza. (2) Parking. I typically disdain Yelpers that focus on parking, but it is so extraordinarily bad here that I have to bring it up. There are roughly 25 spaces and no street parking. A lot of these spaces are also short-term parking, which makes it extremely difficult when you want to do the pizza restaurant. They occasionally offer valet - but there is no seeming rhyme or reason for when they do or don't. And there are two small parking lots that don't share access, so you have to constantly enter and exit busy streets to go between them whilst looking for parking. For as popular as this place is, they really need to come up with a better solution to parking.
