If you get a new room this place is 4 stars... If you are like me and you get a old room that has not been remodeled since the Olympics were here in 88... This is a 2 star. So why 1 star? Well I came here with a coworker and we stayed 2 nights... He booked through http://Hotels.com and I booked direct via Starwood.... He does not have a Starwood card and I have Gold Status..... He got a new room and I got a crap room!
I only got moved when he came by my room and commented how much better his was.... His room had a flat panel TV.... New linens... Comfortable bed.... New furniture. My room had a TV that was so blurry you not watch it... Sheets that were old and like sand paper..... On a bed that had seen it's better days.... On furniture that was dated at best.
I went to the front desk and asked how he got a better room....they said when I checked in none of the new rooms were available....I said I checked in before him... They said maybe none were ready at that time... I said he checked in just as I finished... They said... OK we will move you... And made it as if I asked them to build a new room for me... No sorry... No thanks for being a member with status.... Just oh you will not get free water in this room.
