  • If you're searching for decent bar/grille type fare, look no further than the Firehouse. I agree with Will in that it's very typical -- typical food, typical service, and a typical scene that you'd find in any such establishment. Think of it as a Panini's (before they started popping up everywhere around the city). We went on a Friday night, and it wasn't super busy. It was easy to get a table, and there was plenty of room to eat at the bar if we would've been down for it. I had a southwest chicken salad that was good. But then again, it's pretty hard to mess something up if it's smothered with my second favorite condiment, sour cream. Unlike other bar/taverns, the music was at a nice volume, which actually made it possible to carry on a conversation while dining. Not a bad spot if you're looking for a typically decent night out.
