| - I love this place!!! We go every time we're in Vegas. It's one of our favorite non-gambling things to do. Admittedly, it was far more convenient when it was a stand-alone location near the Hard Rock. It's current location inside the Rio is a bit out of the way. However, if you like a bit of competitive fun, KISS, and a respite from the hot Vegas sun, you'll definitely want to take a little drive over there.
Mini-golf is always fun, but add in the indoor, air-conditioned appeal, the glowing, black-light enhancement, and the pretty crazy theme, and you've got some truly winning entertainment for all ages. Some of the holes are pretty challenging, and the entire course is scattered with cool murals of the bands, and obstacles like giant guitars, massive shoes, and a final hole featuring a 6 foot long version of the most famous tongue in all of music. They even have a DJ who takes requests from players.
The price is a bit high, at $12 per person, but you can sometimes find a coupon in those little 24/7 booklets around town. Anyway, it's worth it for the unique experience, and affordable by Vegas standards. Go, putt, laugh, sing, and take pictures will all the props.
