  • Let me say, as a brazilian virgin I was terrified at the pain and agony promised in so many reviews of this service. Ladies...suck it up. I am not saying it doesn't hurt, hair yanked out by the roots should and will hurt but not nearly as much as I scared myself into believing. I talked and laughed with my technician through the 20 minute process and barely had any discomfort at all. In fact, I would say it was as close to pain free as possible. When it gets too close to your...er...really private area, concentrate on your breathing, don't know how- try yoga. But they know what they are doing, so it's like, one, two, three-done. My technician was a total sweetheart, Amy (Amie?). Booked the next appt already. No I did not get the numbing potion and it was TOTALLY FINE. Maybe she is just a wizard at what she does, but I walked away smiling, tingly, no discomfort at all, no irritation whatsoever. Go for it! It's pretty...:0)
