| - I have to agree with Justin I. place is cute. i really like the tiny patio (dog friendly btw) and the cute little old house the place occupies, but it took a long time for our food...as in 15-20 minutes.
when Yelp did the Waffle weekly yelp, we booked it over. the belgian waffle reviews and photos were mouth watering. but it wasn't that busy, so we thought it would be faster.
i ordered the belgian waffle. we were asked if we wanted the fruit compote...which is a whopping 2.50 extra...and i thought "nah, that's way too much for fruit compote, and a tasty waffle should stand on it's own....with a little syrup". my waffle, although fine, was nothing spectacular. why it made the weekly Yelp, i don't know. waffle house waffles???? trashy, yes, but way better.
my wife ordered the french toast. hers was much tastier...some kind of sweet, corn flake style crust on the outside.
i'm sure some of the other items may hold better, but we have our fav's that we'll probably stick to instead.
