Having visited this spa 3 times in the past month and a bit, I have discovered that this spa just doesn't offer the attention to detail that it should be offering. Simple changes like attention to the grapes they are serving post service (which often look quite waxy and unruly) to having some thick set curtains upon entering the relaxation room (which allows bright lighting from the hallway to shine in and the sound of the loudly clamoring feet of employees walking by). My second session with the spa (my most recent being last evening) was very disappointing and upon adjusting the automatic gratuity of 18%, the receptionist did ask what the issue was but her lack of follow up or customer service was extremely disappointing for me. I only booked another session afterwards for the sake of giving them one more chance and location. Ultimately I expect more for paying $260-500+ every time and just wish they would do more. That being said, there are many positive qualities about the spa, just expecting more for such a prestigious hotel and brand like Caudalie.
