| - I bought a very very low milage one owner Certified pre-owned 2013 Nissan from here recently, and based on the experience as a whole I've already recommend this dealership to a couple of people
The salesperson, Theo, older and a true gentleman, was awesome. I went in not exactly sure what kind of vehicle I wanted. I was prepared to shop the Autoplex all day, I'd actually planned to go to Toyota and get a Camry eventually, but came here first because I loved the look of the Muranos and was curious. He said let's see if we can make you happy enough that you don't go anywhere else, and he backed that up. Through trial and error he was very patient and we narrowed it down to a couple of Rogues. The numbers worked out for the one I liked more, a gorgeous black Special Edition that I'm in love with
I wasn't happy with the initial percentage rate Finance offered, but was able to get it down another 2.5 points to where I wanted it when I walked in
What blew me away was that doing the final paperwork, the Finance guy noticed I calculated my monthly income wrong (I went off of takehome instead of gross), and he got me down a further 2+ points! I was ready to sign, and he tells me "btw, we got you an even lower percentage rate". How great is that?
Bonus points also to Theo, I forgot to bring a recent check stub, so we test drove the Rouge four miles over to my work so I could grab one. He's definitely willing to go above and beyond. Also, they were down a Finance person, so the wait to do paperwork was a bit long, but Theo kept checking in on me, and even invited me to join the staff for their catered in lunch
Kudos also to the whoever detailed the Rouge. Test driving it I noticed it could use some cleaning inside, and some scuffs here and there, but when I got into it to leave it was IMMACULATE. I felt like I left in a brand new ride
If I have one knock, it's that the gas tank was less than half full when I drove off the lot. I didn't notice it until later, and ended up putting another 10 gallons in. When Theo made a follow-up call the next day, I questioned it. He said that the new cars have to have a full tank per Nissan, but pre-owned cars they don't. With the cost of the car and the financing I'm $30k+ into it, and they didn't fill up the tank? He offered to look into reimbursing me somehow, but . . . whoever decided on that chincy policy should rethink it. Kinda cheap if you ask me, and the only smudge on an otherwise great experience
That's a small thing, overall I recommend them. I'll update once I've had some experience bringing the Rouge in for scheduled maintenance
