When we first moved in everything was really nice and professional! I love the leasing agent Tonya. She helped my boyfriend and I save a few hundred dollars on our deposit which I appreciate immensely. I think most of the leasing agents are very nice and good at what they do.
Here's where the problems start. Maintenance workers.... When we first moved in we had a few issues with the washer/dryer, carpet, our balcony door wouldn't shut properly and also our bathroom doors handle was broken to the point you can't lock it for privacy. These men come in to fix everything. Walks to the balcony door, "oh it'll close if you give it a nice tug and make sure to lock it!" So I have to slam it shut and lock it in order for my door not to fly open. That's not working properly. That's working around it. It's very agitating to have people come in and tell me "yeah it's broken. But it'll work this way" your job is to fix broken. Not teach me how to live with broken. The carpet has sharp nails sticking out of the ends that they said they couldn't do anything about. And they told me they would come fix my bathroom door handle when the parts came in. It's been about 3 months, I'm still waiting....
Yesterday, my lovely dog got to the nob that turns your dish washer on and ate it to no return. We cannot start the dish washer without a replacement. And called the maintenance line. TWICE. This women said she'll send one out right away. Five hours later we called again. And this morning I decided to make a review because I think it's ridiculous I'm going to have to call a THIRD time because no one has yet to show up.
Security.... Our tires got slashed in the parking lot. So we upgraded to the $50 parking garage... Which literally has enough space for your car! You'll have to squeeze out the back trunk because there's no door opening space! There are "tow away zones" that lots of people will park in when they are unloading groceries or large items that they don't want to haul around the parking lot. If you're a resident, you know, many cars do this on the daily. So it's really outrages that I can park there, unload some groceries and in that 5 minutes span I was away from my car. The lovely security slaps a NO PARKING sticker on my window. Tires slashed and my window vandalized...
The granite countertops are nice. But it's not worth all the trouble. For the love of God, find somewhere else to live.
