I was taken to this "restaurant" for a birthday lunch. Seated immediately but told that there would be a wait. So we waited . . . no bread was brought to the table to tide us over during our wait or even offered. I understand that sometimes a larger table should take priority BUT every customer should be treated with respect and taken care of equally.
I ordered the blueberry crepes and a side of bacon. The crepes were mediocre at best tasting a bit off. The side was soggy and chewy four slices of something that resembled bacon. My companion ordered the V Ruben which arrived with cole slaw inside the sandwich, gasp, bastardization of cuisine. And when asked the waitress had no idea whether the pastrami was lean or fatty. What gives?! And no spicy mustard.
The bathroom was a door leading into tiny sink area and another door leading into the lavatories. A fresh coat of paint was merely window dressing on this poor excuse for an upscale restaurant in downtown Mesa.
