Came here on a Wednesday night at 8pm. Dinner was a poor value. It is a very expensive restaurant and the execution of the cooking is very average. I really have no other way to describe the quality other than "meh". For $24 for a spaghetti appetizer sized portion, it should be different than if I just boiled some I got from the store and threw a couple clams in it. There was no aspect of the food here that was notably good in any way. It was not notably bad though.
Our waiter seemed excellent; however, there were a large number of fish types to choose from and when we sought guidance he kind of just said 'they are all really the same more or less'. I also got the feeling they were just recommending whatever they were trying to get rid of, so we had one of the snappers. It was spongier than it was flaky- I regret not just getting a branzino.
The hostess also was not particularly helpful. We had a reservation and there were a surprisingly large number of open tables, but for some reason it took her over 20 minutes to seat us. I would not recommend the place given the huge number of alternatives in the city.
Atmosphere was beautiful, but the place seemed kind of empty which detracted from that.
