My first couple of visits to NCVELO Bicycles were great. They were friendly and helpful. Then I bought a package of two bicycle lights for around $50.00 and they were installed. I rode with them on my bike a few nights later and they had lost the initial charge that they had coming from the store so I charged them on my computer.
The next day one of them worked and the other one didn't. I took them to NCVELO to exchange the one that didn't work and they would not exchange it. They said that I had damaged the light. If all I did was charge them in my computer, how can they be damaged to the point that one of them won't work? Is this product so chintzy that a $50. bike light would be damaged by plugging it into my computer? The owner, Jay Wyatt, would not exchange it for me as he felt that it had gotten damaged after leaving the store. Jay, is your need to feel "right" greater than your desire to provide excellent customer service? Unfortunately you have lost a customer.
A biking friend of mine has recommended Trek Bicycle Store on Johnson Road. I will be taking my business there in the future.
